Halls
Six halls, and what actually sits in each
The trading city is not one market — it is six halls built between 2002 and 2025, each with its own trade mix. Walking the wrong one costs a day. Below is the mix as published by the market and by the listings we counted, with our verification status on each line.
How to read a booth code
A Yiwu booth code reads like a coordinate: gate 门 / floor 楼 / street 街 / booth number 号. Gate numbers sit on the outside of the building; streets run inside the floor. Give the whole string to a taxi driver or a translator and they can find the stall.
| Example | Means | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| D3 · 67/2F/6th · 25486 | District 3, gate 67, second floor, 6th street, booth 25486 | Enter at gate 67, take the escalator to 2F, walk to 6th street, look for 25486 |
| D6 · 172/3F/1st · 83247 | District 6 (Global Digital Trade Center), gate 172, 3F, 1st street, booth 83247 | Newest hall — larger units, newer fit-outs, outdoor cluster on 3F |
| Off-site office | Trading company with no stall in the halls | Cheaper per unit, but you cannot inspect the sample wall |
Booth numbers are stable for years; stall operators change. Confirm the operator name at the stall before paying a deposit.
